A great hot springs town with many different ryokans and hot springs. It`s located a little ways from Mount Aso, and has a traditional feel to the town. Feel like a Japanese local back in the day as you walk through the town in a yukata. If you check out multiple locations, it`s about 500 yen per place. Or you can get a multiple admission pass for about 1000 yen.

How to get to Kurokawa Onsen
From Kumamoto, we recommend you rent a car, take a taxi, or take the kyushu odan bus. Those are the 3 direct routes to Kurokawa Onsen. If you go to the closest station (Aso Station) you will still have to get on a bus or taxi from there.
