The Tokyo Skytree (in the Sumida Ward) is the tallest structure in Japan reaching a heigh of 634 meters. It is used as a televison and radio broadcast site. It`s a marvel to look at! You can go to the Tembo Deck on the 350th floor, or the Tembo Galleria on the 450th floor. The tickets are sold on the 4th floor (North Entrance). If you`re an international visitor you can get a fast skytree ticket (if you present your passport or other ID for verification) close to the west entrance. There are also shops and an aquarium near the base of the tower so get yourself ready for a fun day!
Open from 8:00 - 22:00.
Tickets are about 2000-4000 yen depending on which ticket you buy.

1. From Tokyo Station, take the JR Sobu Rapid Line to Kinshicho Station (8 mins)
2. Take The Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line (3 mins) to Oshiage Station
About 15 minutes from Tokyo station to Oshiage station (apx. 300 yen)

Sensoji is the oldest temple in Tokyo. A beautiful place to check out! Beside the temple is a 5-story pagoda and a shrine. Do you need to pray to the Buddhist Godess of Mercy?
A shopping street that has many shops that sell snacks and souvenirs. Try some of the street food, on your way to the Sensoji temple.
Usually held on the third weekend in May, the Sanja Matsuri is one of the biggest festivals held in Tokyo. Be one of the 2 million tourists that go to the festival each year!
The Asakusa Samba Carnival is a big event held in Asakusa! The carnival is a parade of many samba groups! It`s held at the end of August! Be sure to check it out!
An annual fireworks festival held at the end of July. About 20,000 fireworks will light up the sky!
